When you watch a Studio Ghibli film, there are generally four things that you can expect to see depicted with utmost passion and detail: the thrill of life, the bonds the characters create with one another, the glory of nature, and the mouthwatering tastiness of the expertly prepared food. Especially the food.
In fact, the various foods featured in these classic animated movies, range from the average day-to-day grub to extravagant delicacies. So various, that one fan counted as much as 47 unique dishes that looked good enough to eat and set out to make it ALL BY HIMSELF.
Whoa, if people grew fat from seeing amazing art, I would probably have serious health issues by now!
Silver and Singers, the YouTuber who created the video, is not a only an amazing cook, but an artist. Because anyone who can turn food, into yummy art, definitely deserves the title. Just watching the video gave me goosebumps, as he shows off some serious culinary skills in his rather lengthy love letter to Ghibli. To top it all off, the guy creates a wide variety of cakes, pastas, and sauces all from SCRATCH.
Don’t believe me? Well here’s a little breakdown of the video just to prove it to you.

Innovative, imaginative, and waste-reducing. This guy is probably the most dedicated Studio Ghibli fan I have ever seen. Every-single-detail of the dishes has been brought to life by this master chef. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty amazed.
So are you mind blown yet?
